E30 Dr. Michael Driedger | Bonesaws Bring It Back

Dr. Michael Driedger (he/him) completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Calgary.  He then pursued subspecialty training with a fellowship in Hepatobiliary and Pancreas (HPB) Surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Currently, he works as an academic HPB surgeon at Atrium Health - Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Charlotte, NC.  He lives in Charlotte with his wife and two children.

E29 Dr. Michael Lai | Bonesaws Bring It Back

Dr. Michael Lai completed his Family Medicine residency in Edmonton, and he went on to do his CCFP-EM training in Winnipeg. He works at the Grey Nuns Emergency Department and teaches new FM-EM residents as the Assistant Residency Program Director. He is still a Calgary Flames fan and lives in Edmonton with his wife Melissa and their dog Maple.

Dr. Michelle Bischoff (she/her) completed her Pediatrics residency in Edmonton, Alberta at the UofA. Currently, she works in Calgary, Alberta, doing primarily outpatient consultative pediatrics, as well as some inpatient hospital work. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor through the UofA and a Clinical Lecturer through the University of Calgary.

Dr. Erik Stilling completed his Family Medicine residency in Edmonton, Alberta, through the University of Alberta. Currently, he lives and works in Calgary, Alberta, in outpatient family medicine clinics and long-term care facilities.

Dr. Brooke Miller completed her Family Medicine residency in Calgary, Alberta. She has worked in Calgary since then and has a full-scope family medicine practice. She also specializes in breastfeeding medicine and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Dr. Steven Burt completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Calgary. He currently fills the lead physician role at The Cody Clinic in Northwest Calgary when he and his fiancée aren’t busy chasing their two rowdy boys. Steve still finds time to play trumpet with the Foothills Music Society and squeak in the odd bit of tabletop gaming.

E24 Dr. Jenna Pylypow | Bonesaws Bring It Back

Dr. Jenna Pylypow (she/her) completed her residency in Psychiatry and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. She sees kids and teens in her outpatient practice, through consults from the ER, and in inpatient hospital wards. She also does a clinic in Prince Albert, mostly seeing kids on clozapine. She lives in Saskatoon with her wife and pets.

E23 Dr. David Poon | Bonesaws Bring It Back

Dr. David Poon, in the last ten years, became a professional stand-up comedian, a medical consultant for TV shows and movies, a politician, and a fiancé. He is the Medical Health Officer of Northern Medical Services, working a hybrid job for the needs of Northern Saskatchewan. He is also a physician psychotherapist at a Toronto addictions clinic. He is doing a Master’s in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy at Oxford.

Dr. Keerit Tauh (he/him) completed his Cardiac Surgery residency at the University of British Columbia. He also completed a Masters of Science with a focus in Inflammation and Atherosclerotic Diseases at UBC, then an Advanced Aortic Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
